Ecco una vera e propria domenica italiana. Un giorno libero che descrive il carattere della gente, le loro abitudini e lo stile di vita. Il tempo si è fermato. Non c'è nessuna fretta. Dopo la pioggia d'aprile, arrivano i fiori del primo maggio.
La Madonna annaffia i lampadari di vetro ogni notte, mentre il bambino dorme in camera. Fra poco sarà troppo caldo per stare fuori.
Oggi Murano sembra una città fantasma: tutti guardano la partita di calcio alla TV. Non c'è nessuno per strada, solo un enorme gatto arancione con gli stivali. Bisogna stare attento: la luna piena porta di nuovo l'Acqua Alta!
Sfiorando il cielo fra le stelle, le rondini sono postini veloci che lasciano le lettere infilate nel caminetto delle case.
In mezzo alla calle, nel solito posto, c'è la macchina del tempo per viaggiare di nuovo alla magica città che ricordavi da ragazzino. Se un giorno ti prende la malinconia, è sempre pronta una scala d'emergenza per andare su e giù fra i due mondi.
