Near Accademia's bridge, there's an interesting wooden construction that you only can see from the other side of the canal. San Trovaso is the last boatyard in the historic center where the traditional Venetian gondolas are still being crafted and repaired. There's always a mystical atmosphere around this building and is probably one of the nicest places of the magic city.
